Let's just say it's not all peaches and cream at our house when it comes to bed time any more. We have friends in the house again, and in order to give the children their own room we put the girls together in a room. It's mostly pretty good because Lindsay spends her days running around the entire house, not just limiting herself to one little room. And with Laney at school, it's the night time we struggle with. Lindsay has been wanting to potty train for some time now and we've encouraged going potty, but never shifted to panties because she really had just turned 2 and it seemed so early.
We'll she's only 2 1/2 (barely) and she is full out panties, except for night time. She now refuses to do her dirty deed in the potty (she has several times before) and she does not want to wear anything to bed. And I mean anything. No panties, no diaper, no pjs, nothing. So we put Laney to bed in our room, Lindsay in the shared room, and check on her every 10 minutes or so. Well, in the 2 year old world, 10 minutes must be an eternity, because it seems it is exactly enough time to strip down to your birthday suit and pee on the floor, the bed, your clothes, just whatev. Little stubborn thing! She takes off a diaper to pee on these things!!! Clearly she is sending a message, I've just got to figure out what is is! (And in case you think it is because she doesn't want to share a room, she started doing this before we merged their rooms). Let the bedtime games begin! *sigh*
