I know you can't see their faces, but that's okay. They are my morning and night, my hopes and dreams. I love these two kids. Aren't they cute? Can't you see the way she just adores him?!

Lovies
Here are my two loves:

I know you can't see their faces, but that's okay. They are my morning and night, my hopes and dreams. I love these two kids. Aren't they cute? Can't you see the way she just adores him?!

It Just Doesn't Work Out Like That Sometimes
You know how sometimes you have this grand plan all worked out in your head? You have the way it all begins, and then step one and then step two, and then the grand finale? You know how you always see things beginning to end? I hate it when I have this grand plan and then things go completely awry. Some things cannot be anticipated I know. Some things, like car accidents or tragedies just don't work into anyone's plan. But it's frustrating to think some things can be planned, almost like a check-off list, and then you find out you can't even write the list because nothing on it comes true to even be checked-off. What do you do then? I used to just come up with a new plan -- not anymore. Now I just kinda sit and see what happens next. I used to be such a planner... I kinda miss that girl.

Life in the East
This is a picture of the view from the house where we live now. This is also a picture that summarizes why I hate living back east in the winter. I miss the south. I miss the people, I miss my house, I miss the sun all year and the temperatures that hardly ever drop below 40. Having said all that...
we love it here. Amazing I know. We know this is the place for us and the place the Lord wants us to be. I keep thinking about answers to prayers and the impressions I had before we moved here, and they are true, and are still coming to fruitation. I'm glad we are here. Depsite the snow, despite the many many problems we've had here, and even despite the lack of good Mexican food, this is now home. And, we've never felt like we've had one of those before. It's kinda nice.
